What we treat
Painted Grove Recovery treats substance use disorders — alcohol, opioids and opiates including heroin, fentanyl and prescription painkillers, stimulants including cocaine, methamphetamine and Adderall, benzodiazepines, and marijuana. We also treat co-occurring mental health conditions when they accompany a substance use disorder.
Levels of care

We do not offer partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient or standalone outpatient care, and we do not provide psychiatric services on site or chronic pain management. Where medication for a mental health condition is part of your care, we coordinate with your outside prescriber.
How long treatment lasts
Length of stay is determined by medical necessity. It varies by person, by substance and by what your plan authorises — which is why nobody here quotes a number.

Coverage
Painted Grove Recovery is in network with Kentucky Medicaid and with the plans listed on our paying-for-treatment page. Being in network is a contract between the facility and the payer; it is not a coverage decision. What your plan covers depends on your plan, your plan year and a medical-necessity determination by your insurer. Call admissions and we will verify your benefits with you.

We offer trauma-informed care tailored to your needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for managing thoughts, behaviors, and emotional challenges; group therapy and peer support to build trust and accountability; family therapy to help loved ones understand and support your recovery; life skills training to prepare you for life after treatment; and trauma therapy and motivational interviewing to support deeper healing.
How long does treatment last?

What kinds of addiction and mental health conditions do you treat?
Painted Grove Recovery treats a wide range of substance use challenges, including alcohol, opioids (such as heroin, fentanyl, and prescription pain medications), methamphetamine, cocaine, benzodiazepines, marijuana, and prescription stimulants. While Painted Grove Recovery is a substance use disorder treatment center, we support clients who experience symptoms such as anxiety, depression, or trauma within our structured residential program. Where medication for a mental health condition is part of your care, prescribing is handled by an outside prescriber we coordinate with — Painted Grove Recovery does not provide psychiatric services on site.
